Hero Complex 0.51 update!

Wake up babe, the new Hero Complex just dropped! It's version 0.51!

However it's not going to be on Itch.io or DriveThru. The version is in GoogleDoc Form and can be found in the WIP channel on Discord (https://discord.gg/qbRHdvDmfg). It's got really important updates to the basic combat system but there needs to be a few vital tweaks to the gameplay experience before Ill be doing a fully-fledged 'official' new version. I have a few playtest games on the way to sort these out.

I figured I should release this version anyway in case people would want to play something that is significantly more refined than 0.5.

Some big changes include:

• New Outsider Kit for loner characters
• New Luminary Type in WIP form for bio-boosted armor lovers
• Revenant got some new tools to make them less Kill Action heavy
• New Civilian adversary. They're always getting in the way!
• General balance changes across the board 
• Conditions simplified and renamed to be more TOKUSATSU
• Moment Resolution reworked
• All Moment Modifiers doubled for bigger risk/reward 
• Skills readjusted to give them more power
• Secrets refined

After taking a step back and looking at the entire project, the next big update for Hero Complex will not include the art or layout improvements. What I want to finish for 0.6 will be:

• Addressing the bloat coming from Type-specific Corruption Symptoms. 0.6 will have them be Universal and come in as a kind of 'Flaws' system and it will grant Kits and Feat upgrades (and eventually XP boosts) to those who want to get strong in combat or gain spooky monster abilities at the cost of taking some handicaps.
• Combat basics should be locked in by then. I want to start exploring more advanced gameplay using the Moment system.
• Level 1 characters feel overly complex. I will be increasing the  levels to 20 and slowing progression for both Combat and Narrative.

Therefore, 0.7 and beyond will focus on escalations, investigations, enemy and encounter design.
